Step by step painting on scraps

step by step of how I paint fabric scraps before I used it for clutches.
I used graphite pencil to sketch, followed by acrylic paint and fabric marker for details. after drying, I apply black marker for outline.

and....thats it!

Neko channnn

I got a big sack of scrap fabrics, and this idea popped. inspired from japanese craft books. add some ribbon embroidery and button here and there. ad here it is...a cute little cat plush!

I'm thrilled to make another plushies with the same design.

Sunbonnet pillow cover

One of my latest work. custom order by my lovely customer. she asked for soft colors with pink and earthy shades of colors. I'm quite satisfied with the result.

almost all of it were hand applied. with needle turn method, I found this the easiest patchwork technique thanks to Liveinternet.ru where I learned it.

My Japan crazed days...

Starting my Blog again today...I need to work harder this time against my laziness to learn blogging. here I share some of my latest work. right now, I'm a little bit obsessed with all things Japanese. thanks God I found I local store that sell many good japan fabric in friendly price...still not much to satisfy my hunger tho...but that's another story. here's the little piece...handpainted with acrylics and marker for line out.
and this is another...just simple bag with no embroidery or painting. I just love the fabric!
I will add some more about my japanese craze craft...for now I need to learn again how to work with my background Blog...nothing on templates match!
